Created recently for upcoming “Nine Lives” exhibition at Cactus Gallery in L.A., this piece is made from found objects and art materials: two cardboard cylinders, papier mache, e-6000, resin, glow in the dark paint, gesso, dimensional paint, acrylics, artificial flowers. Original is now in a private collection and recently featured in the “MERCY” group show in Los Angeles at Cactus Gallery. MERCY was curated by good friend and fellow artist, Ivonne Carley, an incredible paper artist.
Painted in oil on canvas, wet on wet, not a typical style for me, but fun nonetheless.
