I recently had some time off from work and took the opportunity to work on a few pieces …
A dear friend was curious as to how I approach my paintings so I set up a short time lapse demo to show how I work in translucent layers using Golden fluid acrylics, glazing fluid and a damp blending brush.
Recently completed for upcoming Dia De Los Muertos event at Hardy and Nance Studios, presented by East End Studio Gallery and Lizbeth Ortiz

Original is now in a private collection and recently featured in the “MERCY” group show in Los Angeles at Cactus Gallery. MERCY was curated by good friend and fellow artist, Ivonne Carley, an incredible paper artist.
Painted in oil on canvas, wet on wet, not a typical style for me, but fun nonetheless.
