Created recently for upcoming “Nine Lives” exhibition at Cactus Gallery in L.A., this piece is made from found objects and art materials: two cardboard cylinders, papier mache, e-6000, resin, glow in the dark paint, gesso, dimensional paint, acrylics, artificial flowers. It was inspired by my recent visit to Phoenix Arizona. For collector pre-sale, contact sandra@cactusgalleryla.com.

Recently one of my collectors commissioned a painting of his sister, Graciela Casillas, the amazing American boxer and kickboxer, champion in bantamweight division, retired undefeated. A real Chingona and inspiration to many. I was both eager and humbled by such a request, as you may imagine. The source image is from one of many magazine covers. This was an immense honor for me, to entrust me with such a piece.
