After several years, I will be returning to Comicpalooza (July 17-18th). I’m very much looking forward to this as before the Pandemic hit, I was just beginning to dip my feet in the water of doing shows again. This is a welcome respite for me and I can hardly wait to see all the amazing creatives. I will be in Booth 2303, so please come say hi!
Jaguar ...
I revisited art cards in what i call “stained glass” style which consists of a gold background and layers of color (translucent or otherwise) and bold black outlines. It’s always been a favorite style of mine and one which made my work easily recognizable.
As with most things involving art cards, I end up wanting to take it to a larger format. And as such, “Jaguar” was born.
Prints are available here.
Virgen de Guadalupe ...
Here is a new piece I recently completed in honor of La Virgen de Guadalupe, in association with MECA Houston and East End Studio Gallery

ACEO / Art Cards ...
Art cards (ACEO’s) are a medium I’ve worked in for many years. They’re an excellent way for me to explore new ideas, new mediums, new techniques that I can then translate to larger works. And they’re a perfect and affordable way to collect original works of art. I’ve been collecting original works of art this way for many years and super stoked about some of the work I’ve amassed. I decided to list some of my own creations here. Check out the available listings (and check back often for new ones).
Hispanic Heritage Month ...
Recently completed, and on the 16th of September, no less. I was in Mexico recently for a getaway. It felt good to be some place other than the work or home I’ve been to since February, but also wonderful to revel in the pride of my ancestry. I even rewatched the movie on Chavela Vargas which is always inspiring. What a legend. I came home refreshed and ready to tackle what so inspired me about my trip.
(Here is a short presentation I’ve created especially for this month)
