Dia De Las Chingonas …

so a few days ago we had our opening night show at bohemeo’s [it's up for the rest of november, in case you're interested in checking it out]. and the night was nothing less than stellar. lots of people, a great vibe, great music, and quite a few sales [always good, yes?]. thanks to all who came out to support us. i wish i could have spent time with everyone at the show, i tried, but the night was too short. i also wish i would have taken more photos.

later that evening was an impromptu afterparty at the continetal club. silly photos taken there. and for once, i was actually in front of the camera, thanks to my son julian and my sister victoria.

big thanks to DJ Supa Dupa Big Lush who was really cooking with some sweet sweet old school chingona tracks, and big thanks to Roberto and Los Pistoleros De Texas who got people up and shaking their booty [including me]. my calves are still on fire.

i’m so happy to know these very talented ladies and call them friends. we’re hoping we can do this again next november. but before then, we’ve got our eye on more Chingona related shows. stay tuned.
