we rang in the day with a kiss …

november 14th was our anniversary. my friend eva captured this for us.

we had a wonderful time at the latin grammys and an even more fun time at the afterparty.

i’ll need to make a proper post about the evening, complete with photos, but i couldn’t help but share this at least. as we were about to leave from the office and rush out the door, i was putting on my silver choker he gave me last year at this time, realized it didn’t really seem to “go” with what i was wearing, [he agreed] and that’s when he pulled out a familiar looking box. to my surprise, he had given me a strand of multicolored pearls. i tried not to muss my make up as i stood there teary eyed and emotional.

i love that man. i think i’ll keep him for another 19 years. [we celebrated our 11th]
