and i saw some familiar faces i haven’t seen in a while.
Liana Lopez from the Nuestra Palabra program and her beau Brian.
Jesus, who i last saw at Lizbeth’s opening at Casa Ramirez.
Patrick [Beans], i think i last saw him a few months ago.
and of course, Bill Shirley, but only briefly.

Rachel was a no show, but my sister, her husband and sister in law showed up.
we all had a great time. i only wished GF would have played more from their
first two cd’s.

there was a moment of panic when i turned on my camera and discovered i’d left
my card at home. my sister said she had one in her car. i was afraid it wouldn’t work, but
it did. she saved me. i’ll upload pix soon. i got some from standing on top of a bar stool.
i don’t think we’re allowed to do that [at least, they told the men to get down].
they left me alone. i guess because they probably wanted to see me fall.
[or because i have boobs.]
at any rate, still not super shots, but okay, i suppose. i’ll see once i pull them off the card.
