alexis update …

[sorry i've been crazy busy since yesterday. overslept today, got to work late and have been trying to catch up ever since].

christian has updated me with the following:

as of yesterday:

- This morning Dr Zileski her oncolgist said he is putting Dr Oliveres will try to correct the function of her kidneys because without them working correctly the cisplaten chemo won’t work. They just took a chest x-ray. Hoping to have her chest tube out soon and tommorrow she should be moved out of Surgical ICU to a room upstairs.
Changing her sheets and sponge bath put her in alot of pain so she requested some pain killer.

-  Dr Blackmon stopped by tonight. Alexis had her chest tube removed. Her kidneys have improved so she can be moved from ICU tommorow morning.

as of today:

- She has started to drink apple juice with protein powder

- For the first time this morning Rose her therapist has Alexis up and walking around the ICU.
