Women on Women : Elder Street Gallery

saturday i had the opening at Elder Street. it was an exhibit by women on issues regarding women. [but we did a have a token male artist in the mix, and his piece had nothing to do with women. but he's famous, so i guess that's okay. lol.] some really wonderful pieces there. i have a new favorite living artist, tanna bennett. i’ve had the privilege of being in a couple of shows with her and seeing her work up close. i am continuously adding to that favorites list, though, so it’s all good. :)

speaking of favorite living artists, stephanie guajardo was also at this one [i had seen her at meca the day before]. we spent the evening sharing stories. she’s one of the most down to earth people i know, so full of heart, and passion, and one incredibly naturally talented people i’ve ever met.

it was a great night. saw many familiar faces. took lots of pictures. overall, very nice.
