complete : encaustic studies #2
this is what i was working on when i should have been working on the poster contest:
these are the two 4 x 4 wood pieces that i experimented with hot beeswax and oil. the top on was my favorite. unfortunately, i worked it to death and it no longer resembles that. AT ALL. ergh. the bottom one was the first i’d done, an ink sketch directly onto the wood. there’s more i’d like to do to it, but after mussing up the first, i will stop here.
